Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Coat the halloumi in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.

2 Halloumi

3 tbsp Plain flour

1 Egg

30 g Panko breadcrumbs

Step 2

Add the oil to a pan over medium heat for a few minutes. Reduce the heat to low, then add the halloumi.

3 tbsp Olive oil

Step 3

Cook the halloumi for 4 minutes on each side, until golden.

Step 4

Whilst the halloumi is cooking, prepare and mix together the cucumber salad and bang bang sauce.

4 tbsp Kewpie mayo

2 tbsp Sriracha sauce

1 tbsp Soy sauce

1 tsp Garlic paste

1 tsp Parsley

1/2 Cucumber

1/2 Red onion

2 tbsp Soy sauce

1 tsp Chilli paste

1 tsp Sesame seeds

Spring onion

Fresh chillies

Step 5

Remove the halloumi from the pan, then add the buns face-side down and toast for 2 minutes.

Step 6

Brush the halloumi with the bang bang sauce on both sides.

Step 7

Add garlic mayo to the bottom of the bun, then top with the burger, cucumber salad, garnishes, and any remaining sauce on the top bun.
